The building at the left is the Gates Block, beyond which is the Spring park and The Bush Hotel. The hotel was built in 1906, according to Kim Jeffries.It seems likely this was shot the same day as the Main Street photo above. Note the construction work on the F.M. Davis building at right. It was built in 1909 on a lot left vacant by the 1904 fire that destroyed the Pickett Block.
